Radinn bankrupt Q&A

In january the Radinn website went black. And that confirmed the end of a 10 years journey of Radinn (short for: Radical Innovation) as a leading jetboard company. It has been an exiting journey and although being one of the finest boards on the market, it seems that the company was not able to become profitable enough.

Although we don't have all the answers yet, we put together a Q&A for this. 

So what does this mean for the customers and partner-network?
​Although no official statement has been made, we have to conclude that the official warranty on Radinn jetboards is no longer being offered. Spare parts are not being produced anymore and there simply is no Radinn anymore, no office, no employees. Which means the warranty between Radinn and users does not exist anymore. 
How about service & support post 2023
Nevertheless we still offer service on 'best effort' level. As long as we have parts or are able to find parts. The assets of Radinn, including parts & materials, have been bought by another jetboard vendor and it's not yet clear if these will be made available for the after-sales market. We are in talks about this.
Can I still buy parts? Battery, remote, leash.
To some extend yes. We still have some batteries on stock, and this might be the right moment to get one, because they don't get produced anymore. It will be hard to get remotes available, so be safe with the one you have and put a floating support on it, so it doesn't sink. At this moment we don;t have spare remotes and we have no option to buy them. Regarding the magnet leash, there's not spares, but it's also not a  big issue. The magnet is just a (strong) magnet and contains no electronics. So any big, strong magnet will be good enough to get you going again.
How about the app and the software?
At this moment the app is still available in AppStore and Google Play. It's also still working. This is a good moment to make sure your board and remote software is on the latest version. New versions will not be build anymore. Ned help to update the jetboard? Talk to us, we can do it for you.
Also an Android offline version of the App will be available, just in case that the cloud software will stop to exist. So we can still unlock and manage the board offline. When needed, we will make it available.
